The 2027 Silverado 1500 is completely redesigned inside and out, with a bolder stance, a stronger grille, signature LED lighting, two all-new V8 engines, a simplified seven-trim lineup, and a redesigned interior built around over 60 inches of available screens.
This is a full redesign, not a refresh. The exterior gets a more commanding stance and a stronger grille while staying unmistakably Chevy. The interior is reworked around a much larger screen layout, and the powertrain headline is two all-new sixth-generation V8s, which Chevrolet says make this the most capable and refined Silverado 1500 powertrain lineup ever.
The 2027 Silverado 1500 offers four engines: an all-new 5.7L V8, an all-new 6.6L V8, an upgraded TurboMax four-cylinder, and the class-exclusive 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel. Chevrolet says the new American-assembled V8s deliver improved power and torque; official figures have not been released.

The 2027 Silverado 1500 offers over 60 inches of combined available screens, including a 16.3-inch center display, a 12.2-inch driver display, and a new available 11.5-inch passenger screen. Super Cruise with Trailering, the only hands-free towing system on the road, is available across more of the lineup than before.
The cabin centers on a 16.3-inch touchscreen with a 12.2-inch driver display and an available 11.5-inch passenger screen. A new available Multi-Flex Center Console folds flat into a workspace, and OnStar Basics is standard for eight years. For towing buyers, Super Cruise with Trailering expands across more of the 2027 lineup, and a panoramic sunroof is standard on High Country and available on ZR2, Trail Boss, and the Silverado trim.
